Rise Up & Build...

Early in 2006, your friends and neighbors
across ND, SD, MT headed south to rebuild homes
and the lives of those affected by the
devastating recent hurricanes.

Future Rise Up and Build missions trips are being planned...
so start planning now!

What did "Rise Up and Build I" accomplish?

Thank you for your interest in helping our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ who have been devastated by the recent season of hurricanes.  At such times, one may wonder where God is in all this chaos and destruction.

In His sight, “Are not 2 sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father.  And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.  So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows” (Matthew 10:29-31).  God knows the suffering, pain and seemingly insurmountable task of reconstructing homes and lives that lie ahead.

This is where you can help.  You can be His visible hands as you sort through rubble, tear out moldy sheetrock, rebuild homes and in the process, bring healing and hope in seemingly hopeless situations.  Putting our faith into action to help those at this time of need is God-pleasing.

“This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.  Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else.”
2 Corinthians 9:12-13

Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me ...
    And they said, Let us
    rise up and build.

So they strengthened their hands for this good work.
    Nehemiah 2:18
